The Church of the Ascension has several spaces that are available for rentals.
The Church of the Ascension is situated at the intersection of John Street and Forest Avenue in Hamilton, Ontario. The stone building was designed in the mid-19th century Gothic Revival style. Since 1850, it has been a prominent historical landmark in the south-central Corktown District. Centrally located on city bus routes, there is also on-street parking and a nearby private parking lot. The church is within walking distance of a number of convenient restaurants.

Our space is available for COMMERCIAL / FILM / TV Production.
The main Sanctuary/Auditorium has seating with chairs for up to 250 people plus additional seating for 100 in the back balconies.
Large round tables for 8 per table are available with comfortable armchairs suitable for conferences, dinners etc. for approximately 200.
Chairs can be easily re-configured to suit your event with a raised platform for stage, and excellent sound system.
Wood floors provide comfort and excellent acoustics.
The Chapel Room is a separate space that is available for smaller groups to use. There is an organ, tables and chairs, with a kitchen counter and sink suitable for coffee-maker. This area has exquisite stained glass windows which provide a relaxing place to hold meetings.
